Sometimes it helps to share your feelings with someone who knows from personal experience how distressing the loss of a pet can be, and who will listen with compassion and without judgement.
The Pet Bereavement Support Service, co-ordinated by The Blue Cross, Britain’s pet charity, and the Society for Companion Animal Studies, runs a bereavement support helpline and email service for bereaved pet owners.
