Equine Cremation

During the lifetime of your horse a close and special bond is formed. This unique bond makes the task of coping with the death of your horse, whether sudden or anticipated an emotional and distressing time.

Recognizing this bond, CPC’s specialist equine cremation service ensures your horse, pony or donkey receives a dignified farewell.

Trained and sympathetic staff will collect and transport your horse in specially designed vehicles to our premises on the Cambridgeshire/ Hertfordshire border.

On arrival at CPC, your horse, pony or donkey will be cremated in its entirety. Our professional and caring service provides you with three options to choose from:

Individual Cremation

Your horse will be cremated in a dedicated cremator on its own. After the individual cremation, your horse’s ashes will be will carefully placed into a beech casket and then securely packaged and returned to your home.

Communal Cremation with Token Ash

Your horse will be cremated with other pets. Token ash from the cremation will be placed into a beech casket and returned to you.

Communal Cremation

Your horse will be cremated with other pets. Token ash from the cremation will be placed into a casket. This casket will then be stored in a vault in a columbarium, situated in CPC’s Garden of Remembrance, and the fascia tablet inscribed with relevant months’ cremation dates.

Pre-payment Plan

Our prepayment plan allows you to make fixed monthly instalments before the time comes. This service enables to you to carefully consider the option available to you in advance and ensures that your horse will receive the farewell that you have chosen, providing peace of mind.
