Saying Goodbye

Saying goodbye to your beloved pet is never easy. At CPC we understand how you feel and treat every pet as we would one of our own family.

Why Choose an Individual Pet Cremation?

We understand that this is a very difficult time and send you our condolences. All individual pet cremations take place in our purpose built cremators. Your companion will be placed into their own chamber to ensure that you will receive your pet’s ashes and only your pet’s.

We have been helping owners say farewell to their pets since 1981 and remain one of the UK’s largest family owned pet cremation businesses; our team has many years experience in ensuring we offer the kind of service we would want for our own pets.

Final Farewell

We will collect your pet from the vet practice, however you are more than welcome to bring your pet to one of our crematoria. You may also say your final goodbyes and witness the cremation if you choose.

Attending Your Pet’s Cremation

Saying your final farewell can provide a great sense of closure.

We welcome all pet owners to any of our crematoria:

Cambridge Pet Crematorium
Caledonian Pet Crematorium
CPC Sheffield Pet Crematorium
Cheltenham Pet Crematorium

We have dedicated rooms where you can see your pet and to say your final goodbyes and specially trained staff to comfort you in your grief.

Witnessing your Pet’s Cremation

For those who wish to witness their pet’s cremation, it is possible to see your pet being placed into the cremator via CCTV and a monitor in our private attending rooms. This service is available at all of our sites.

Returning of Your Pet’s Ashes

Your pet’s ashes will be securely packaged and returned to either your home or veterinary practice. Alternatively, you may wish to collect your companion’s ashes from CPC in person.

We return your ashes to you in a beautifully presented casket or urn of your choice.

We have Gardens of Remembrance at all of our crematoria site and plots available for interment of ashes. Please speak to one of our Bereavement Advisors for further information.

Same Day Service

We offer a same day service for clients that are able to bring their pet to one of our crematoria. There is a small surcharge for this service and we ask that you contact us before arrival to confirm we are able to meet your requirements.

Farewell Planner

CPC’s Farewell Planner is a way of writing down your wishes, like a will for your pet.

You can select the options available and create a document to keep or take to your veterinary practice to put on file and refer to.

Our farewell planner allows you to plan in advance and have peace of mind.

Some owners find comfort in creating a tribute to their pet.

Each of our crematoria has a Book of Remembrance, where you are more than welcome to leave a tribute to your pet using our specially designed writing sheets. Once returned to us, one of our dedicated team will place your tribute in the book and photograph it for your records.

Alternatively, you can create an online Pet Tribute; the tribute will show on the homepage, tributes page and you can share it across your social media.
