Gentleman Jack

My darling boy Jack passed over the Rainbow Bridge on 4th April 2022.

My little hero, so brave having all those tests at the hospital, you were doing well. Mummy couldn’t wait to bring you home on that Monday, eagerly waiting for you to be brought to me in the waiting area, but in a cruel twist of fate it was not meant to be, you suffered a Cardiac Arrest my lovely boy minutes before we were to be reunited. You didn’t know Mummy was just outside waiting for you and you passed to Rainbow Bridge before we could have a last cuddle. I will never come to terms with the fact I was not there in your last moments. The horrible thought of you on your own will always be with me, my heart is broken forever. I hope somehow you know I came to you after you passed and spent time cuddling and kissing you.

I cannot explain why or what happened to you and your siblings on planet Earth, God will be the judge of that, but I pray you are now in the arms of the kind Angels running free and at peace with your three brothers and sister.

You came to us at 15 weeks old and stole our hearts with your cheeky tilt of the head when we looked at you. Thank you for being there for me through all of life’s ups and downs and for being my best buddy and baby boy. We loved each other unconditionally. I miss our cuddles, curling up on my lap and lying on the bed next to me. I miss and love you so much it hurts. I long to cuddle you and your siblings. Until we all meet again my sweetheart.

Important Easter
Delivery Notice

To ensure the safe and respectful return of your pet’s ashes, we will be temporarily pausing all courier deliveries between 2nd and 7th April inclusive over the Easter period.
 
As courier services can be affected during this time, we cannot guarantee the prompt delivery standards we always aim to provide. Rather than risk ashes being delayed or held at courier depots, we feel it is more appropriate to keep them safely in our care until normal service resumes.
 
For families who have chosen to have ashes returned directly by courier (including PDSA clients), deliveries will resume from 8th April.
 
For all other families, ashes will continue to be returned to your veterinary practice as usual once ready.
 
If you are local to one of our sites and are expecting your pet’s ashes to be returned via courier during this time, you are also very welcome to arrange collection of your pet’s ashes. Please contact our team on 01763 207700 in advance so we can make the necessary arrangements for you.

Easter Monday (6th April): Closed

From Tuesday 7th April: Open as normal (8:30am – 5:30pm)
